On-Farm Practical Training

We conduct practical on-farm trainings tailored specifically to smallholder and medium-sized farmers on active Push-Pull farms. Training topics are selected based on farmer preferences or our annual curriculum.

Sessions run hand-in-hand with farm inspections to evaluate progress and reinforce practical implementation of organic, biodynamic, and climate-smart techniques among small and medium farm communities.

Agroforestry & Demonstration Farms

We maintain dedicated demonstration areas where smallholder and medium farmers practice Push-Pull and learn eco-friendly, regenerative farming methods hands-on.

In 2025, two major Agroforestry demonstration sites were established in Mambo and Masereka villages in collaboration with specialists from the APOPO Foundation.

Individual Extension Support

Dedicated Extension Officers visit smallholder and medium farmers directly on their land for personalized extension services and on-farm guidance.

Farms are evaluated against Push-Pull principles, offering tailored advice on soil fertility, natural pest management, animal husbandry, and eco-friendly practices that raise farm yields and strengthen smallholder livelihoods.

Seed Production & Supply

Practicing Push-Pull turns smallholder and medium farmers into primary producers of high-value Greenleaf Desmodium seeds, producing 500 to 1,000 kg annually.

Currently undergoing TOSCI DUS Evaluation certification, seeds are supplied to support smallholder land restoration:

Fresh Produce Market Linkage

Organic Hill Farming assists small and medium growers in producing premium marketable crops and securing fair prices. Starting with avocado, Organic Hill Farming Company directly purchases avocados produced by smallholders in Lushoto District for all collaborating local and international buyers/markets either for export or cold oil pressing

Agricultural Consultation

We deliver specialized extension services and now intergrating biodynamic agricultural consultation designed for smallholder farm groups, medium enterprise farms, as well as large scale farms

Our advisory help smallholder and medium farming systems implement eco-friendly land design and sustainable supply chain management.
